According to EU Regulation WE 245/2009 to Directive on Ecodesign all fluorescent lamps and high-pressure discharge lamps without integrated ballast, ballasts and fixtures for such lamps should be replaced by more ecofriendly lighting starting 2017. The regulation mainly concerns production and service sectors (production halls, offices, shops, hospitals).
